Partnerships for Impact

Meaningful partnerships are key to effectively advancing our mission. As a Geneva-based organization, we have cultivated strong relationships within the Geneva ‘ecosystem’ and worldwide.

Meaningful partnerships are key to effectively advancing our mission. As a Geneva-based organization, we have cultivated strong relationships within the Geneva ‘ecosystem’ and worldwide.

The Geneva Water Hub proudly collaborates with numerous entities based in Geneva, including key partners such as the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). We are also proud members of UN-Water.

Furthermore, the Geneva Water Hub is an active member of the Transboundary Water Cooperation Coalition, a multi-stakeholder coalition dedicated to catalyzing commitments and progress on transboundary water cooperation, particularly in connection with the UN 2023 Water Conference and the Water Action Agenda.

In addition to these partnerships, the Geneva Water Hub is an institutional member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and contributes to the Interest Group on Water within the Association. Moreover, our Platform for International Water Law is a member of the Global Forum on Law, Justice, and Development (GFLJD) hosted by the World Bank.
