Protecting Those Who Keep Life Flowing

On 29 October, the Geneva Water Hub, together with the Permanent Missions of Kuwait and Slovenia, co-organized a side event under the Global Alliance to Spare Water from Armed Conflicts. The discussion shed light on how international law can better protect those maintaining water, energy, and health systems in war zones.

Tadesse Kebebew from the Geneva Water Hub emphasized the urgency of ending impunity for attacks on essential workers and strengthening accountability.
