In this edition of MEDRC's "Transboundary Waters", Natasha Carmi, our Lead water specialist, is invited to apply a gender lens to the challenges of water security and transboundary cooperation, and discuss methods for achieving the SDG of Gender Equality in the water sector. She, more specifically explores, how to raise the gender aspect in the water-peace discourse and the role of women in advancing the new mechanisms of water diplomacy in addressing global water issues, through the The Global Observatory for Water and Peace for example.
