At a time when water diplomacy is gaining global attention, from extreme droughts to mounting tensions over shared rivers, strengthening our collective capacity to govern water peacefully has never been more vital.
The Geneva Water Hub and the Formation continue, Université de Genève were delighted to celebrate the 2024 graduates of the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Water Governance: Frameworks and Negotiations. The ceremony brought together professionals and researchers from across the world, all committed to making water a catalyst for cooperation and sustainability.
Congratulations to:

Reflecting on the experience, graduate Solenn Le Goff (University of Zurich) shared:
“All the modules had high-quality content and were taught by top-level experts. Now I feel much more equipped to reflect on global water challenges.”
Directed by Prof. Christian Bréthaut and Imane Messaoudi-Mattei, and involving leading experts from the University of Geneva, the Geneva Water Hub, and international institutions, this CAS offers a unique bridge between science, policy, and practice — shaping the next generation of water diplomats and governance professionals.
