4th Water and Peace Seminar - The affective dimensions of water conflict and cooperation

Many experts engaged in water diplomacy and water conflict resolution have experienced that factors like trust, beliefs, emotions, values or personal chemistry affect whether cooperative solutions are achieved.

In the 4^th Water and Peace seminar, we will discuss new approaches to improve our understanding of the political dynamics around conflict and cooperation on transboundary waters, and to craft adequate water diplomacy strategies. . In particular, researchers from the Geneva Water Hub will present their new framework for analysing hydropolitical dynamics through discourses.
