The Geneva Water Hub participates in the concluding event of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Project "JustWATER – Water Decision Making Tools for Informed Hydropolitics in Italy", bringing together researchers, practitioners and policy actors to discuss hydropolitics across Italy, Europe and the Mediterranean.
Geneva Water Hub participation:
• Natasha Carmi (University of Geneva / Geneva Water Hub) will present Empowering Women in Water Diplomacy in the MENA Region, based on comparative research in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Palestine.
• Prof. Mara Tignino (University of Geneva / Geneva Water Hub) will intervene on Comparative Hydropolitics and the EU Green Deal.
University of Geneva contributions:
• Cyrille VALLET and Aline TELLE will present research on Rhône River & Nuclear Energy Governance and perspectives for transboundary cooperation.
The workshop explores hydropolitical dynamics, water diplomacy tools, climate-driven pressures, and science-policy interfaces shaping governance across Europe and the Mediterranean.
